How it works

  1. Add a clear front-facing photo, then choose the size you need — a passport or visa size, or your own size in pixels or millimetres.
  2. Drag the photo and use Zoom (or pinch) until your face fits the guide, then optionally set a maximum file size in KB.
  3. Press Download photo for a single image, or Download print sheet for several copies on 4 × 6 inch or A4 paper.

Does this change or replace my background?

No. The tool crops and resizes your photo but does not edit the background. For best results, take the photo against a plain white or light wall with even lighting and no shadows.

How do I keep a photo under a size limit like 50 KB?

Choose JPG, type the limit in the Maximum file size box, and the tool lowers the quality just enough to fit. The File size value in the details panel shows the result. If the limit cannot be met at that pixel size, choose a smaller size.

Will the photo be accepted by the passport or visa office?

The sizes follow common standards, but rules differ by country and change over time. Always check the latest requirements of the authority you are applying to. This tool does not check face position, expression or background for you.

How do I print the sheet?

Download the print sheet and print it at 100% scale (no fit-to-page) on 4 × 6 inch photo paper or A4 paper, or take the file to a local photo studio. Then cut along the thin lines.
